According to BBC's Newsnight, Lawyers working under the Bush administration fear they could be subject to a war crimes investigation and may have been left vulnerable to explain themselves to an international court much like the Nuremberg Trials.

  • Prescott Bush was a tire saleman that married the daughter of a Nazi financeer and went into the family business of war profiteering. Mentioning 'war crimes' and the US in one sentence is like saying shit stinks.

  • Brave woman, hope she still alive and free ! Brava !

  • yet after decades and decades. the mud monkeys and sand niggers still live. the us military has stacked up tons of national debt and the american spirit is broken

so much for the best country in the world

  • even if we were found guilty of war crimes whos going to stop us were the best country in the world aint no army in the world can stop us.Hell if it was up to me I would have takin the chance and killed every man woman and child over there.Hell they aint nothing but a bunch mud monkeys & sand niggers.

  • Well, racketering normally has more than 1 participant. That racketering as u call it with the so called bases, especially n Europe, is the whole basis n keeping a percentage of the European countries economy afloat. I would have absolutely no problem with all US bases coming home, but the problem is not with the US bases coming home, but with foreign govts wanting them 2 stay, because of the revenue it generates 4 those countries. Sort of puts your argument on the fucked up side dont it?

  • It's more a case of protection racketeering and local corruption that keeps the US bases afloat in other countries. I know. You know nothing, ass-socket for Satan's fist 'democratichypocrit.'

  • but the smart citizens of the countries you fuckin dumb fucks wont dare do that because then you cant have some of our money. Your money is worth nothing without the dollar. Sort of makes your argument worthless dont it?

  • Who gives if the US is "Tarnished". I'm 51. I could give a shit. I am a bit more concerned about my life than worried about how someone feels about the US on fuckin Utube.

  • Treason? The british called the war of independence Treason. You idiots live in a dream world. My 5.56 says I will do what I want, and if I dont like how things are, if I want I can take matters in my own hands. I understand the consequences of that theology, therefore, you are all just a bunch of fuckin whiners. Grow some balls.

Lastly, besides the ugliness of TORTURE, when the Bush Administration sought how to scape the thresholds of the Geneva Conventions and especially in light of the history of the USA in regards to detention laws and rules of war conduct, on it's face, this appears to be an attempt and assault upon the Rule of Law and the American Justice system by the former Administration of the USA.

    None dare call it TREASON.

What type of character must one have to consider committing acts or TORTURE and war crimes a "NO BRAINER"?
