  • The project was canceled. IBM withdrew it's people and systems. NCSA now has an empty building with no future. The SSC of the supercomputer world. What a wasted opportunity.

  • @55t1 - Actually, after IBM failed to meet its obligations and withdrew, the first Cray components were delivered this January.
