@MrLorenzotrigueros ... at 18 and then moves to Pennsylvania before they are 21 can still maintain legal possession of said fire-arm. Registration is not required and against the law, in PA, as well.
So handgun ownership is perfectly legal at 18... :D.

Federal law prevents FFL dealers selling guns to people under 21, however, there is no federal law, that controls ownership to people over 18. State laws do or don't control that and private sells are NOT controlled federally. In PA a parent can transfer a fire-arm to their children, with no FFL or Sheriff and thus, can transfer a fire-arm to an 18 year old, legally. Otherwise, a person who buys a fire-arm in Florida with a face to face....
