Tommy Bolin - Standing In The Rain Rare Demo.

Tommy's home demo from the James Gang Bang era. A sublime performance which he recorded on his little portable 4 track machine and Yamaha acoustic guitar.

There are some overdubs and harmonizing and, of course, his unique percussive rhythm style along with two solos which are very different from the recorded version, found on Bang.

Most important of all, Tommy is doing the vocals. Enjoy.

Thanks Gord. I posted it because there wasn't a version up and I think it's a stunning take. Just Tommy and his guitar doing what he does best.

I've since found that someone has posted it, but only because youtube made him remove the studio version (claim by WMG), so he used this one instead.
