These are my favorite two books.
I really like; Looking out for #1 by Robert J. Ringer. It is a book about living in reality and not sticking your head in the sand. You can find it in a library. He has written other books as well. He is funny and has a lot of theories like. THE THEORY OF REALITY=Reality isn't the way you wish things to be, nor the way they appear to be, but the way they actually are. Either you acknowledge reality and use it to your benefit or it will automatically work against you. His whole philosophy revolves about REALITY AND mutual benefit. You will fall in love with his books. They are in everyday language. They are all about truth, but on a practical level. A Course in Miracles is about being connected to our Maker and our Brother. This book is also about reality and truth. This book is super-deep and great for inspiring in-depth thought. The book is hard to understand but contains depth of thought lacking in most books about spirituality. ACIM a course in miracles is an eye opener like in the movie The Matrix (the first movie) where the people are being controlled in the background). There is something going on in the background of our life that manipulates us if it can. When the truth is revealed we can start to work against the forces that keep us from having good relationships and living a life where each present moment is a miracle in progress.

These books are perfect for helping you get your head out of the sand and to look around and notice what is happening around you.If you want to be blind that is your choice but it is a lousy choice for the modern person. The less you are willing to face reality the more you will be burned by it.Read up and wake up.

  • Ringer's best book was HOW YOU CAN FIND HAPPINESS DURING THE COLLAPSE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION. It is almost impossible to find today. It took me YEARS of checking ebay before a copy turned up. I highly recomend it.

  • glad you found it. I love the book.

  • Where can I find the pdf "Looking Out for #1"?

  • I don't know where to find the pdf. I have the real book. I think you can still buy it in bookstores. Also try the library. That is where I first read it from. I will check the internet a little for you for pdfs.

  • Looking Out For #1 was like Robert Ringer stepped inside my head and organized all the thoughts I was already having. By far my favorite book. A definite once a year re-read just to get you grounded back to reality.

  • I agree with you 100%. I made this video at a time when I was very busy. Thanks for you viewpoint. I do really need to redo all my videos. Thanks for the kick in the butt. But I am still busy these days. But please don't judge the books by my primitive video. The book LOOKING OUT FOR NUMBER ONE is very funny and you will learn a lot. The other book A COURSE IN MIRACLES is infinitely more complex but also a good read.

  • what the fuck,

a simple video of yourself holding the book and reading whats in your info for this video would have gone a long way
