A second prototype of the UJI Librarian Robot. Books are grasped in a way similar to humans. Force and tactile feedback ensures a suitable contact of the robot fingertip on top of the book

People often use 1 hand to hold back books (to prevent drag) - 1 hand to slide selected book out
Version 1 was good - 3 hands is optimal for high speed extraction
Version 1 just needed a specialised hand to hold books back (on right and left of selected book)
