Go to Sony and download the update on a jump drive. Then plug it in to the PS3 and install it. You can also try to go into settings and "format" your hard drive. If all else fails; start the PS3 in safe mode and choose the option to detect any corrupt files in the HDD. There is a lot of info out there on different methods of trial and error. Just search your error code and start trying different things.
