@Drino1969 I have a 2010 XVS650 classic now, I am able to do upwards of 155km/h without any trouble or serious vibration.

@SnapDaddy5998 I found this bike vibrated at that speed from new, simply because it seemed to want another gear at that speed. The 1100 did too, but to a lesser extent.

@Drino1969 Vibration at 50??? These bikes are known to get that if the carbs are not synced. The timing becomes off slightly and can send a sharp vibration into the seat.

@sam3d Mines a 2000 custom with 23000 :) Love it!

@DuBois994 - Yes - if anything you might by a little cramped - you might need a little more leg room so may need to look into moving floorboards and levers forward and you'll need to make sure the bars are comfortable for your arms. I'm only 5'5 and I reached everything easily. The VStar 650 is a great beginner's bike - very forgiving, low center of gravity, easy to ride.

I have an XV250 and it can sit on 100 KM/H without any hassle, that's like 62 Miles/h, how is the xvs650 worse?

@RichardXV250 - the 650 is more than capable of that speed, but with the transmission only having 5 gears, at about 65 mph she definitely would benefit from another gear. There is also vibration which I found unsettling at those speeds.
