In response to the comments: I stayed there for one month and I didn't pay-- a friend was letting me stay there. This flat is probably not common in London!!! I took the video because it was luxurious and therefore not normal. The thumping was from the nearly constant construction next door. So yeah, don't expect this when you move to London unless you're rich. I am not, I do not live there and I was lucky to stay there for a month!!!

I didn't pay the rent but I'm sure it's outrageously expensive. It was in South Kensington. I was just staying there with a friend for a little while.
