the guitar doesn't blend very well. Sounds too fake and digital. BUT still outstanding composition .. badass.
-
yea the guitar does ruin the whole piece but everything else sounds nice.

How do you think EWQLSO Gold compares to platinum and platinum plus?
-
is the eastwest quantum leap vst just for Pro Tools or can i get this for Fruity loops 9 aswell ?
-
@audiomandan I suggest rock ministry if you want more realistic guitar souonds. It's made by the same company too.
-
sounds like the soundtrack to a CoD game.

Very Very nice....maybe real guitar s would be better ?

Ok thanks! U could by an upgrade tho? I've glanced at the DV Toolkit 2 expansion. But, I know that Pro Tools 8 (HD version) has a library based on the East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold. Just wondering if I could get it on Pro Tools LE with some upgrade or something...I don't know. But this sounds amazing tho! :D Great work!

Do u get the East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold with Pro Tools LE + MBox 2? If not, what kinda orchestral elements do u get inside Structure?

@cinemats Hi,
East West Symphonic Orchestra is something you would need to buy seperately. I have 'Structure Free' with my edition of Pro Tools. With that though you do get a 'Hybrid Soft Synth Pad' but I think that;s all.

how natural the instruments sound is up to the composer. there are built in EQ features for this reason. Im pretty sure if you were to spend a little bit more time on this.. the guitar wouldn't soud so distant in the song...did you use reverb? to much reverb always displaces the sound of the instrument a bit...almost a false sort of compression

From what I remember I used deconstructive phase to widen the guitar part but it caused a phase problem on mix down which I didn't correct. It's been a while since i did it! You're comments are very helpful though thanks for taking the time to listen and comment
