After getting my DSLR wet with salty water I've read in the internet that you should wash it with warm water to get the salt out of it. So here it is, the full video. I'll wait a few more days to get dry and I'll try to see if it started working again.

  • @smfarazm: no, no success. It seems the Canon service is the solution in this cases... You can't do anything at home.

  • hi filisoft.

you should try it with destilled water. in "normal" water is still a little rest of salt and chalk..

then lay the camera near a warm, dry place.

    an alternative:

try (nearly) 100% alcohol. you get it at the drugstore.

    hope your cam will work,

    chris

  • @ciibii thanks a lot, I'll try it :)

  • HULLO! PEOPLE!

    Please read the description.

    His camera's already BROKEN. DEAD.

He accidentally dumped it into saltwater.

He might as well try to wash out the crusted salt inside the body with water.

    Makes sense to me.

  • @HollandAmericalover Whoa, somebody actually read the description! You're absolutely right, I was trying to wash the salt inside.

  • Some people are stupid. Read his fucking descriptions you retards.

  • @drummerkid1993 Finally someone who can read the description :)
