I remember this show! I only saw it in black and white cause we didn't have a color TV. I was 14 when this show came on the air and we were living in Long Island! I hope someone finds the footage and uploads all the shows on youtube.
HEY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR YEARS... I WAS ON SOUL ALIVE AND MY 2 TIMES BEING ON THE SHOW WAS FANTASTIC. THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL TIME FOR ME ESPECIALLY. I MISS THOSE DAYS... I AUDITIONED AT "CLUB LEVITICUS" AND I BELIEVE IT WAS CALLED :"CLUB STRAWBERRIES OR STRAWBERRY 23" IN NY (EITHER EASTCHESTER OR YONKERS OR ONE OF THOSE PLACES. I REALLY WISHED THAT I COULD FIND ONE OF THE ACTUAL VIDEOS THAT I WAS ON WHICH WAS REPEATED 2X EACH DURING THOSE YEARS..
OMG I used to love this show back in the day!!! Soul Alive appeared on New York's WPIX (11 Alive), which was also a cable channel in Philadelphia back in the 70's. I still remember the commercial...watch Soul Alive on 11 Alive!!! Thanks a million for the memories!!!
