I have a R6 07 stcok and so far a just touch 275km/h with the wind going on my favor :P the bike dont go much more than that

my bikw was origninal and i take 280km/h few month ago i put the yoshimura carbon muffler from usa and i touch 298km/h...flying mate!

but now i sold everything and i bought ducati 1098...awesome!

ive had my r6 dyno'd, performance exhaust, racing chain and sprocket, and racing tires and i clocked out at 284.3 km/h

as already mentioned take 10% of your top speed known fact most speedos show faster than actual speed pulled 174 on my r6 which is about 157 mph true speed take a gps out on a ride with you give you more accurate reading

It was measured by BIKE magazine that the REAL top speed of 2007 R6 is 266 kph(166 mph).. Measurement was done with GPS..

completely correct, attend any sort of dyno day and view the results of any bike. You can take 8 - 10% away from your top speed on the clock! 290 on the screen is 260 - 265
