Rhyme Spitters is an All-City freestyle battle competition. The tournament is open to all contenders and is free to enter. Because of this, sometimes, we get folks that should have thought twice before entering such an intense competition.
Rhyme Spitters is the premiere Chicago battle tournament and has been recognized as the All-City Freestyle Championship. Watch the entire film at http://www.vimeo.com/6485990

  • It's not Rhyme Spitters' style to keep anyone down and be selective about who can or cannot battle... That's why participation is FREE so anyone that think they can should try... It's all love, any emcees that can't hang will be dealt with "in the ring" so to speak.

I think there's only one way Doc or anyone can truly prove themselves and and it's at Wicker Park on Ssturday August 18th 2007.

  • The problem is that theres too much of that out there. Rhymespitters is a good idea but I wish they were more selective with who they let touch the microphones. These videos usually show Chicago at it's worst.

  • You should check out the entirety of Rhyme Spitters 1 and 2.

  • 0:50 lol dude looks like Zac Efron, how he expect to be taken seriously?

  • vampire now + just quit now.

  • who was the dude at 0:55??

  • "he's a vampire now" ahahahaha that was the worst shit

That made Vanilla ice or Ja rule look good and they suck

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

  • I saw the entire first DVD and honestly was disgusted. I'm a Vet from the Steppes, Blue Gargoyle and Lower Linx eras of Chicago Hip Hop (TSP Crew). Nowadays, most of these 'now rappers' suck. They should concentrate more on writing good song material and enhancing their vocabularies than spitting gibberish in a freestyle battle. I have old songbooks from '95 with better lyrics than most of what I hear now.
