  • Its the strangest thing. Ive had a 1:250 scale paper model (card stock) of the USS Arizona on CD for several years that was given to me as a gift. I printed most of the sheets when I got it but my printer started acting up, didnt get a chance to print the rest and then I moved and never had the time to really start on it. Till this past Friday, when I started building it. Which is almost exactly a year to the day this video was posted. And for some reason I discovered this video just now. Wierd.

  • is this the trumpeter 200 scale? I have been thinking of buying it.

  • amazingly beautiful model.

  • @xrtw53 It is teak wood, To this day it appears to still be in pretty good shape. There are videos that you can see it.

  • what happened to the timber deck?

  • Now build it gettin bombed by the japs!! Heilongjiang hitler!!

  • @navyreviewer

The model appears to be 1/96th scale. More than likely it was built from a Scaleshipyard hull. Lee, the owner, will sell you about 50% of the ship. You still have to build the superstructure and the decks.

    This is a masterful ship.

  • very nice! Whats the scale on your model?
