Thank you so much for this testimon!I grew up in the german and french education system and I never saw an interview like this. Even if we went to camps like Oranienburg and Sachsenhausen next to Berlin with our teacher, nothing can replace a survivors vewpoint.

Everybody knows the holocaust did happen and the ones that say it didnt happen are either German or are just too cowardly admit it because its too horrible to think about basically they are cowards

@OreoSwaqq hi. i was not talking about your grandpa, i was talking about indygoguy cause he said: "Most of those people were not in fact "ordinary" germans rather they were violent criminals who were released from prison..." about the kz-guards. and this is totally wrong. if you say "they were no ordinary germans", you say "germans were innocent for what happend". and we are definitly not innocent. i got deepest respect for your grandpa and for what he has done. (sry for bad eng)

@Hoshang2 i am german and i can tell you he's lying - these people were ordinary german soldiers from the ss or gestap and no criminals from somewhere - everybody in germany was knowing, what was going on - in "mein kampf" hitler wrote in the twenties - so already before he was elected - about killing all jews in munich on gallows... nobody can tell me they didn't know about what was going on in the kz's.
