How to NOT start a Chainsaw!

I am glad people did not see the aftermath of this video. I tried to start the saw and it kick backed. I fell flat on my face getting a nice bloody nose while managing to break my glasses on the hard concrete. Thankfully, I have a spare pare. Lessons learned: 1. DO NOT TRY AND START A CHAINSAW WITHOUT GLOVES OR SHOES ON, 2.DON"T FORGET CHAINSAW'S KICKBACK and 3. BE SAFE AND USE COMMON SENCE!

That is why you pull the engine up to compression and pull the rope fast and hard. It helps get rid of kick back. Nice saw man

An important lesson indeed. This winter I unclogged a snowblower chute with my hand, being lazy and all. Two fingers grazed and impeller, luckily I got to keep both, and they were swollen for a week.
