I will only ever use a Fender to Dry My clothes on from now on!!!. Tha'ts all Fender Bass gear is good for these days............... Is this the same Fender company that Geddy now endorses after so many years as a Ric/Steinberger man?

@Lordofthebass1 Neither, they're made by Fender - dry, thick sound - easy to set up and dry clothes at the same time ;)

@cmosdall Been a bass player for most of my life-now I know where I was going wrong. What brand are they? Candy or Samsung......? I need to get that sound,...Are they easy to set up ? and can you dry your clothes at the same time???

there's a feeling canadians get when thier plane lands at YYZ, or YUL for that matter. A feeling of peace, of having reached sanctuary, a letting go of all tensions that yields a relaxed calm. it only lasts for a moment but every canadian I've talked to feels it - even people recent to canada. I believe this was the impetus of the song and the reason for that time change in the middle to that glorious synth, before the rush of daily life changes your rhythym again.

I saw this years ago. And what I took away from it initially is the exactt same thing I'm taking away from it now. RIO fans ROCK! It's not just RUSH. Whenever I've seen footage from any live, huge band they go insane. In a good way. I mean these guys (fans) are singing to a song w/out lyrics. And jumping in unison. I'm so impressed w/ their high octane energy and their love for RUSH. Just an awesome clip. Love RIO!

I'm from Rio and I couldn't be more glad that this gig happened. I mean, Rush and the brazilian fans... we just needed each other.
The fact that Rush never came here before that, + the fact that the band was almost gone and then got together after what happened to Neil... I believe that night had an important role in the rebirth of the band. And we, the brazilian fans, were just the definition of joy. I'm so happy that my hometown is part of that, Rush is by far my favorite band! RUSH FOREVER
