Names of the enemies in Sonic 1 (and this game): Piranha: "Chopper" Beetle: "Moto Bug" Bee: "Buzz Bomber" Crab: "Crabmeat" Caterpillar: "Caterkiller" Chameleon: "Newtron" Driller: "Burrobot" Pig: "Ball Hog" Torpedo/Shark: "Jaws" And whatever the fuck that other thing is that rolls around in the City Outskirts is simply called a "Roller".
