Tribute band 'The Clashed' play (part) I Fought The Law live at the Plinston, Letchworth, Friday 9th September 2005.
Apologies but I missed the first few seconds. However, this does include my favourite part of all the footage from this concert: from 0:56 ("she's the best girl that I ever had") through to 1.36, including the audience dancing, the strobe lighting, and the band singing with drums only / no guitars.
There are many things that make tribute bands inferior to the real thing, but there are two reasons why I like them so much:
1. They play exactly what the fans want to hear, because they are fans themselves, and include ALL of the classic fans' favourites. The real band might play a few of them, and if you are really lucky they might play your own personal favourite(s).
2. Tribute bands make a great effort to make the songs sound exactly like the original recordings (or sometimes like a popular live recorded version), whereas the real band will often make changes to freshen up a song - not what we want.

No they don't. For what they do, replicate Clash music for Clash fans, they are really excellent. I guess perhaps you may not be a fan of Clash.
