Salisbury Youth Dance Company - Performing 'ctrl shift '

ctrl (control) shift was inspired by the theme of ACE Dance and Musics performance Switch and choreographed as a curtain raiser for their performance at Salisbury Arts Centre on 23 March 2010. Exploring ideas of circuit boards and machinery, the dancers transfer energy between each other and charge themselves to successfully work together and create a functional operating system of individual components.




Supported by Wiltshire Dancing and Salisbury Arts Centre, Salisbury Youth Dance Company provides high quality dance opportunities for local talented young people aged 14-18. The company offers the opportunity to further technique and choreographic skills within weekly rehearsals, with an emphasis on working towards public performance and providing inspirational opportunities.
