This video is part of the "BNSF SDVOAJ, Executive Special" Series. On Aug 21st, 2010 I had the chance to chase this BNSF Special Over Donner Pass. The chase started at Glenshire which is near Truckee and ended all the way down in Davis. It was a semi cloudy day, and it seemed the clouds never worked towards my liking. But it was still and awesome day and there will be many great videos/photos from this series. Hope you enjoy!
This is an extremely rare shot. A BNSF Passenger Special as it travels on the Martinez Sub in Davis, CA. BNSF does not operate trains through Davis and on Cal-P anymore. UP took away their trackage rights. So seeing a BNSF like this is rare. Here you see it go across the Yolo Causeway in East Davis. This was the last video in my chase. I hope you enjoyed the series!

They have trackage rights if the train traveled on the Overland Route. They can't run if the train is coming up out of the valley. This train was coming from Denver so they were aloud.

What's with the single double-decker car? Looks like a CalTrain/Meta gallery car with a bunch of windows missing. Good video, btw. :D

Its the Fox River which is a lounge/gallery type car. It sure does look ugly in that consist.
