Can LUbuntu boot on a 150MHz laptop in the time taken for 'Forest Dance' to finish?

Hell I'd use it for typing at school.

@DAREDEVILS32 Puppy prefers to run from USB anyhow, and will save changes onto the flashdrive. I figure you know this, but mentioning it for onlookers.

@DAREDEVILS32 I would go with Damn Small Linux the whole OS is 50mb.

I remember way back when first discovery Ubuntu. Got the disc free at a pc shop. Windows was messed on my P3-550MHz rig. Had 256MB of ram. I couldn't figure out what to do so I tried out this magical new OS I've new used before. After installation, I used Ubuntu on that pc for a year solid lol. So stable. But for some reason, I cannot get it to run on my newer pc ever since I installed W7. I want to use 10.10 so badly.

@kikou87 I'm not entirely sure if I'm honest. I think its something like 256Mb, but I plan to upgrade it soon.

Maybe try Puppy or something a bit smaller cause that boot was SLOOOOOOW!

I have Puppy on it now. It works brilliantly, but I can't install it I'm afraid. Hard drive failure you see. But it wasn't that slow. I tried XP on it and it took me an hour and a half to boot.
