where did it say the Jedi feared losing their political power? They tried to defend the Senate & preserve the Republic. But I agree they may have been complacent. But that may have been due to Sidious's master persuasion and devious plan to overtake an entire government using peoples' fears to do his bidding. With so much emotions happening, they most likely weren't able to see through the fog that is around them. Though I question why the Order CONTINUED to let Ani see the Chancellor in ROTS

dude u should of seen it is was so funny i was playing battlefront2 and some guy got mace and im like order66 and all my teammates actual killed him man the guy go so pissed he when with it but he didn't think we where really gona kill him when we did he said so many thins o it was funny
