Morning coverage of Hurricane Bob several hours before it made landfall in New England. The radars show the eye off of the NJ coast. Jim Cantore and John Hope give excellent commentary

  • John Hope was awesome, I remember the day it was announced that he died. It was a sad day. That guy knew his hurricanes, that's for sure.

  • Wow! I forgot that Jim Cantore had hair! One of the sexiest weathermen I've ever seen. He's definitely bulked up over the last 10 years, too.

  • 3:43 did he say they were going to get raped?

  • Now here comes Irene.

  • The late great John Hope

  • I was 12 years old and lived in E Falmouth around 1/4 mile from Vineyard sound. We had winds of around 110 to 120mph max for a couple minutes, gusts lasted around 8-10 seconds at that speed. Mostly 50-80mph sustained winds for 1-3 minute spurts. Almost no rain at all, which saved many trees from uprooting.

  • Vivian Brown sounds the same but looks funny. lol

  • In New Jersey, we got hid hard! 2.5 inches fell where I live.
