Some of the peopleI remember...you never forget love. Pat & Nonnie Kane John & Jackie Carton Jerry Carton Kathy Ridout Susanne Marshall Jan Mim Drake Connie Lattimer Larry Arrowood Brian Hall Mike Ryan Jennifer VanVickle Agnes "Chevy" Chevlier (Cook at the East ranch) Bill "hello girls" Westbrook (Famous for always saying hello girls when he came into the room) Becky Barb So many others that I can't recall right now........ Thanks to ALL who loved the kids nobody else wanted.
Oh yeah? Well, I lived here. From about 73-74 to 1982 when I graduated from MHS. My name is Ray. These folks tried their damndest to take care of us boys and girls. I'm here to tell you they did it because they loved us.....NOT for the pay thats for sure. They weren't paid very much at all for their efforts and us kids were sometimes a real pain in the ass and I know what I'm talking about believe me! I miss the ranch sometimes. When I was first there, Larry McNeely was our director.

I miss Tom Butterfield. What a great human being he was.
My husband & I, both worked for BYS in the late 80's & left there about two months after we married. As another poster said Mr. Butterfield would indeed be happy that his legacy continues.
I would like to find a copy of this movie too. I was an extra in it. It was partially filmed at Missouri Valley college in Marshall, MO (the college scenes at least). Can anyone help with finding the full version???
i have not gotten this movie, and i would be much appreciative if you were to share your knowledge of attaining this film! im a huge michelle pfeiffer fan and this is one of two movies of hers that i cant seem to get my hands on! L=
@pfeifferobsession89 did you get a copy of this movie? If not I can tell you how . This facility is a wonderful place and my former place of employment. Mr. thomas butterfield would be pleased that his legacy has helped thousands ofchildren and continues to do so.the facility has gone through some changes in administration and some are worried about the direction that she seems to be trying to take the company. We are prayiny that this much needed facility will not be destroyed by prejudice.
