I find this a more honorable way to slaughter the animal than hanging it from its hind legs and slitting its throat until it bleeds to death,because thats how they do it at the slaughter house.

At least in the ring the animal has a chance to fight for its life instead of being kept as a slave for the supermarket.

@Aspanaut You know more about the honour system among bovine mammals than I do. I do know that civilised HUMANS find tormenting animals to death for pleasure is one of the most dishonorable things possible. The animal is not fighting for its life - because it cannot win, and cattle are not slaughtered as you describe. Oh - and you don't have to be a vegan to be against torturing animals.

@TheSamara89kitten I think you've hit on the main problem. People don't know what bull 'fighting' is really about. Someone famous needs to make a MAJOR documentary to expose this insanity and get it shown around the world. Public opinion is a powerful thing but - no information - no opinion!

I don't support bullfighting at all, but you have to respect their culture etc. I'm sure France can find a few things wrong with America. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, just saying that while not everyone will want to accept it, it /is/ the culture.
