While there are still a lot of things left to do on Alderaan, I decided to push ahead with the main story for a while since I seem to be somewhat over-levelled at the moment. Judging by the NPC deaths and weapons of planetary mass destruction I'm getting fairly close to the end of Chapter 1 of the Jedi Knight story now (yes, just the first chapter of one of the eight gigantic class-specific storylines).

  • @TheHolandTrip I'm somewhere above 60 hours at this point (yes, the game keeps count via its console), and the single most impressive aspect of SWTOR is undoubtedly the sheer size of the story-related main quests. Even if you don't count the obvious MMO filler (of which there is a lot), SWTOR is still on an entirely different scale than anything Bioware or any story-oriented RPG developer has ever attempted before.

As for the speeder, I will probably get a 10% faster one at level 40... ;)

  • Does the game keep tracks of hours played? It's an admirable effort of game dynamics if they can continue the variety of scenics, characters and so on through all the chapters, even though they will most likely add more quests, updates and so forth long before anyone will reach the "end" of the game. And are you going to invest in a faster speeder soon ;)
