  • Did that man say he was a nurse?

I thought a Nurse was just the female name for a doctor =S

  • Nope, a nurse can be a man or a woman.

  • they have AED's

  • Actually, the real people often participate in the re-enactments. Sometimes the victim and the victim's family will be portrayed by actors, but the rescuers almost always play themselves.

  • they compressed reallly DEEP

  • Cool Trivia about this segment: after the airing of this segment a dr who knew i liked rescue 9-1-1- found mark gordon and met him in person.

  • With little details like that we have to remember that these episodes are recreations and the producers put them together with actors. When they say that the real people have returned to tell their story they mean the interview parts.

  • What do you mean by elderly?

    SHE'S OLD DAMNIT! HAHAHAHA

  • Do they have portable defibulators for civilians to have and if so where i can i get one?

  • because the cardiac arrest symptoms will be lowered that way no mor ebrain damage if there is any already. nowadays in hospitals they use epinephrine for a jumpstart of adrenaline to the heart. In some cases as a last resort (if they have it) paramedics will inject nitric oxide into the blood stream to enlarge the the bloodflow capacity, therefore giving blood to all vital organs.
