In 1993, Jay and Gino - young pups in their early twenties - opened their first café, winning Windsors young entrepreneurs award of excellence. They went on to operate a nightclub, a pizzeria, and most recently - an elegant eatery in the heart of Windsors Little Italy. There was a time where you had to jostle for a table at their restaurant. But the mother of all recessions has sent a chill along Erie Street.
Its a tough time to be running a fancy restaurant in Windsor. In a town built around the automobile industry, the crisis has hit particularly hard. The downturn calls for a new set of recipes. Gino and Jay get creative and cook up a plan.
