People in other countries around the world with their own media reports noticed that the American so-called 'liberal' media were very pro war and pro Bush.....they didn't ask the tough questions and the rest of the world wondered what happened to the free press in the US. I don't remember the US networks even showing how widespread and huge the protests in other countries were either.

smh at these "reporters"..

On the contrary: we have regulation for private stations, so all news must be impartial and accurate (the Communications Act 2003). Our main provider is the publicly owned BBC, which has 8 different free channels. And then there's Channel 4, part funded through ads, part through public money, and it's a charity. That leaves ITV, Channel 5 and Sky. The corporations don't own British TV at all. That's why it's so much better.

"We're going to block access"...
The media should have raised concerns when Helen Thomas was "punished" for asking "President" Bush direct questions MONTHS BEFORE 9-11 ATTACKS!!!
The media was an unwitting accomplish in the scam pulled on the American People.

Williams' comments are bizarre! He didn't get the question. Gibson is just making up falsehoods. After Powell's speech Gibson and others were gushing about how Powell "made his case" and were not asking any questions about where's the evidence that supported his claims? If they had asked to see the evidence instead of the speech props, the maybe Powell would not have given the speech in the first place.

Lauer: "But we didn't give into that!"
Couric: "No, we didnt give into it".
No "Katie", I think you did.

But in the end, the press weren't pressures. They supported it because war is good rating. Look at Fox, without 9/11 and Iraq, they'd have pathetic ratings.
And they never asked about the REAL issues, namely how is Iraq even a threat to the U.S.? What about the people who will die?
Ah, screw those vipers.

How am I on crack? You compaired this war in afghanistan to the 80's war the had with Russia. (Russia helped us out in this war, we learned from their mistakes. They dont wont attacks from terrorist ither.)
how about listening to public radio and TURNING OFF YOUR T.V. FOREVER? I did, and it's been the best 10 years of my life.

Well at least they only lied about this war.
Would be a shame if they had didn't report on a corporation because they didn't want to lose sponsorship. Or if they worked for a parent company who lets say made jet engines that go in military planes and had an invested interest in more war, that would be shocking. I don't know if I could ever trust the news again, but that would never happen in the USA. Now, back to brittany.
