To use nail art canes you will need to procure a special cutting blade perfect for cutting minute slices. Be careful however; the cutting blade is extremely sharp! Each cane is about five or six centimetres long and five millimetres in diameter, the perfect size for use in any nail art technique.

  • Got two questions...

    1) How long are each cane?

    2) How many pieces can you get from each cane?

    Thanks!

  • They are 5cm long and you can get at least 100 pieces from one cane (depends on how thin you make slices)

  • WOW!

That looks like an extremely effective way to cut your thumb in such a way that will certainly require stitches. This is a terrifically irresponsible "how to" video.

  • LOL!

    This is NOT for kids!!!

And to protect your fingers you have to use plaster tape for nails! (I just didn't used tape here so that pictures are much clearer and easy to understand).

If you do it slowly, nothing bad will happen!

  • Why you don't just lay the nail art cane flat on a surface and then lice it? it's better then holding it in your hand and taking the chance of cutting yourself.

  • "How to present stupid and false statements in a professional looking way so that idiots will believe you"

LOL @ "fimo canes are made from ceramic" and "need a specialty tool to cut them"

  • Was it honestly necessary to talk soo much at the beginning? -__- I just wanted to learn how to cut them.

  • @unapecatti I was having problems getting the thinness I wanted lying the cane down etc. This works like a dream!! Wafer thin slices and 130-150 slices per cane every time, even though I'm a complete newbie (only got my 1st canes a week ago and was just about to throw in the towel and start buying them pre-slice). Now I get to save money to buy Konad plates with *grin*. I wrap a layer of electricians tape around my thumb. Thank you so much - subscribing to you was a complete no-brainer!!

  • @zilchic o.O OMG! I will slice my thumb like this =.='

  • you talk too much :/

  • LOL who would cut this like this when they can lay it down and slice it like a normal person would. I should show this to my technical writing professor and see what grade she would give it. LMAO

  • how thin should they be

  • If youre going to slice them that way, Id wrap some tape around my thumb or something so I wouldnt slice my thumb off by accident

  • i got a question too if you do these nails how can you remove them if you us base and top coat to put them on your nails how can you then remove them with nail polish remover? Nya!

  • If you are using on normal (not fake) nails are they massive like take up the whole width of the nails?
