So would I. That is why I disagree with those who do not support vouchers, choice and charter schools because it is not only the wealthy that should have options. President-elect Obama has criticized his opponents for recycling tired rhetoric about vouchers and school choice". I feel that adding to the options of as many children as possible would be the fair thing to do. Education is the most important investment for the future of all our children, especially for those with limited means.
Enrolling his girls in public school would put them in more potential danger. Private schools have better policies, security, and confidentiality. If I were president, I would make sure my daughters were safe.
I have quick question for someone who would care to answer it. The stimulus plan the Democrats in the House and Senate are trying to pass along with President Obama; is it reflective of the stimulus package that was passed in February by President Bush? I know the stimulus is for the auto industry and infrastructure and to create new jobs but will there also be tax rebates like we had in February or will their be just tax cuts for the the middle class? A bigger tax rebate would be great.
That must be why he is pushing for another bail out package. Bush may have supported the first bail out package, but he is not the one that voted for it. However, Obama did. So, I guess you could say Obama fooled everyone, as well!
The following question was asked Q:Have you decided on a private or public school for your daughters?
A:We'll be making a decision about that in the future.
You can bet that his choice(as it is now in Chicago)will be for a private school. Like all politicians who oppose vouchers he does not care if the average person has this option. He is more interested in protecting the jobs of the teachers union. A big civil rights issue in america is the poor schools that many children must attend.
