Patrick McGoohan sets himself up to infiltrate some organisation (happens most episodes).

Best episodes in the series were:-
The Paper Chase (Directed by McGoohan)
Colony Three
The Not So Jolly Roger
THe Man with the Foot isn't so bad either.

  • "Not-So-Jolly Roger" and "Man with the Foot" probably wouldn't make my top ten episodes, never mind my top four. The other two you mentioned are two of the better episodes, to which I'd add "Yesterday's Enemies" and "You're Not in Any Trouble, Are You?", featuring a knife fight with Burt Kwouk.

  • I'll take a look at those episodes.

  • Go Larry! Any relation to Barry?

"I can't tell you my real name.... Call me John." Tee Hee.

  • Larry's not my real name, I can't tell you my real name but call me Mark!

Couldn't resist thought Larry Norman was a good name for uploading clips with.

  • Danger Man without doubt is the greatest secret agent show ever. John Drake is far superior to James Bond and Patrick McGoohan was born to play the part.

  • "Danger Man" was an intelligent show. Theüber cool theme song matched the intelligence of the show. It was repackaged in the US as "Secret Agent" and the avant garde theme replaced by Johnny Rivers singing "Secret Agent Man"--a snappy tune the first couple thousand times you heard it, but ultimately, the "Achy-Breaky Heart" of it's era. It would take Stuart Copeland's theme for "The Equalizer" to rival the "Danger Man" theme. The show has never been outclassed.

  • "No Marks For Servility"--another terrific episode, with Drake impersonating a cool and unflappable butler to a sweet young woman married to a controlling creep of a husband. Loved McGoohan's mix of emotion (feelings for the girl) and restraint (remembering the mission). That should be on your list also.

  • where can you find the episodes today?

  • Larry, who is number 1, YOU ARE number 6
