Having one this friday. Very scared, Been trying to concieve over 2 years now. Hoping the removal will help me get pregnant :)

Just had one a month ago. Not a bad procedure at all. Was under general anesthesia. I had a uterine polyp removed. Afterwords I didn't really even have any cramping, just light spotting for about a week, week & 1/2. Overall not scary at all, unless a person is very afraid of going under. I dislike coming out of anesthesia more than any other part of the whole process.

They see that all the time they don't think nothing of it. To them it's just another body part.

Hi dodders! It went well but was super painful! Put frozen ice packs over your tummy... That helped me! I wish you a speedy recovery!!
better than a huge wound in your abdomen AND uterus... which is the alternative

Just had one yesterday and it was was painless. I was under general anesthesia and left the hospital an hour after the procedure. Very slight cramping for a few hours afterward and was able to resume normal activities the very same day. I also had a D&C at the same time. I was worried prior to the procedure because I didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't bad at all.
