"The World According To Jon"

YouTube visionary, and creator of the hit YouTube series, "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?", Jonny Paula shares his opinionated and enlightened view of the world with you... one amazingly mediocre video at a time. New videos uploaded daily! Unless he posts an episode of "Jon's Adventure Vlog" instead!

  • I like those new DVD/Bluray players, you can play your normal DVDs and your Bluray discs on the same machine and record 1080p and 480p videos and TV shows onto a HDD or USB drive (if you have the right configuration and model).

  • @Macintosh3745 - Newsflash:

All BR players are backwards compatible. All of them.

  • HD vs SD in Verbal Definition. Anyway, the main difference between HD and SD is you get a choice between juvenile american movies in standard definition or juvenile american movies in high definition...and listen to juvenile idiots like the above in between.

  • @according2ed - hahaha... you're such an idiot, it's pathetic.

  • SD YouTube is faster on my iPod which I can't change the quality on unless I use hacks

  • As crazy as it is I still buy VHS. (obviously if its a new movie ill either get dvd or blu ray) Even though I have an HDTV and a PS3 I continue to buy VHS Tapes. VHS tapes of older movies literally go for a penny on amazon. Eventually I'll upgrade to blurays completely but as of late I've been careless about quality but more concerned with just watching the films. Call me crazy...because i clearly am XD

  • Now me, I can really tell the difference between HD and SD, I went from using a 720p 23" Dell HD TV, to a crappy Sanyo 27" TV and holy shit it sucked trying to play my xbox 360 on it because the TV only did 480i

Now that I have a new Toshiba 32" inch 1080p LCD HDTV using HDMI for my 360 and future PS3 I can see a big difference, and after showing my parents this video and your other video Jon, now they can see the difference. Thank you for the videos, keep them up!

  • Ford is for homos

  • Try watching a vhs movie on 240p on a sd tv and 1080p HD on a 55" Sony brivia on a ps3 on HULU® with HDX. Then tell me if it's the same.

Thumbs up if its WAY DIFFERENT

  • it sucks because games don't support standard definition anymore, my parents won't buy me an hdtv, and as far as I know I can't find a place that sells sd tvs besides on online websites, but after a while the tvs decay even more over time blurring it more.

  • Ironically this video is not HD. :(

  • well your right about having to re-buy vhs but you can watch dvds on a bluray player

  • I watch Japanese videos on the internet, and I can tell the difference. So people who think SD and HD are the same.....SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TeamIKG don't take everything literally... gosh...
