Rally for Equality Part ONE of SIX

Public rally in responding to local anti-gay expressions in Middle Georgia.

DERRICK MARTIN: High School Student allowed by his school to have same-sex date for the prom then faced public oppositon from his family and community.

DEONNA SAGE: Adam Braswell is a popular and respected local drag queen who faced opposition for his scheduled appearance as DEONNA SAGE in a local fashion show.

Both Derrick Martin & Adam Braswell were attacked in anti-gay bias by a local radio talk show host in addition to the public opposition.

This event was planned to show support for Derrick & Deonna and to discuss issues of Equality for all. Hosted by PFLAG Macon Georgia and Georgia Equality and emceed by Dawn Forbes.
