Judge Sentences Justin Heyne to Death in Triple Murder case

"BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A convicted murderer will die for his crimes. Justin Heyne shot and killed a family three he was living with in Titusville in March of 2006.
One of his victims was the couples five year old daughter Ivory Hamilton. A Brevard County Judge sentenced Heyne Thursday morning to life in prison for murders of Ivorys parents, Benjamin Hamilton and Sarah Buckoski. But he followed a jurys recommendation when it came to the death of the child. For the murder of Ivory Hamilton, the court sentences you to be put to death by the manner described by law.
Heyne was unemotional as the sentence was read.
The Buckoski family who lost their daughter and granddaughter were in th courtroom. "Its kinda like reading a book and not reading the last pagegotta be there to close the book," said Dave Buckoski, Ivorys grandfather.
He says he will be there for the execution and had this message for Heyne. "Truthfully, I hope God has pity on his soul. I cantmaybe he can."
Heynes death penalty sentence will go through an automatic appeal to the Florida Supreme Court. Hes now 28 years old and has been in the Brevard County jail since being arrested shortly after the murders.
Heyne is being watched closely after someone mailed a gun to him behind bars. Officers found the gun hidden in some legal pads shortly after his conviction in August. They think he was going to use the weapon to escape from jail."
