@HitmanJenkins1 but even in some of the interviews on here he stated so much more could of been done with the sound of the album so he is definetley a perfectionist it taking that long to create loveless and u still say u could of done way more with the sound givin the time. he said they worked roughly 3 to 4 hours a day.

@HitmanJenkins1 with music, the important thing seems to be less the technical aspects...I mean, those are important. But, it's best to get in the right head-space and then just let it flow out. That way, you get enough material to piece together a technically correct song...but enough off-the-cuff improv to give it that spontaneous edge and grit

@avedic I guess you mean perfectionism in terms of production quality, quite a few records these days are nice and pristine and shiny, I personally prefer a bit of dirt on them if you know what I mean!

@avedic Kind of an ironic statement seening as Kevin Shields is probably the biggest perfectionist there is, why else do you think Loveless took forever to come out? MInd you perfectionism isn't a bad thing, it actually encourages you to push yourself to the limit as a musician.

@CapitolNoise Their albums actually were toiled over forever.... Loveless took two years to record....
