This great 50's R&B song is the flip side of Sleep. Even though it was a hit, Sleep doesn't show up very often. When it does most doo wop/r&b guys probably pass it up. I don't recall hearing this on any of the oldies shows or seeing it mentioned in any publications.

Good question. It's hard to say who influenced who.. They both got started around 1955 and both became popular around the same time. I do hear similarities between them but Sam Cooke always sounded like Sam Cooke and Little Willie John always sounded like Little Willie John. If there was inspiration it's hard to say who inspired who.
