  • Ketron X1 was the best keyboard of Ketron until Audya, because it created the line of "best natural sounds" Ketron keyboards + powerful editing/sampler features. All others (Vega and XD line) had only small improvements on sound engines, but with a lot of drawbacks on editing features and samplers...an X1 with steroids may be SD1/PLUS...

And it has a stable OS (not like Audya :( ) and if you have one it's a must to upgrade to 5.0a version...to benefit of the latest feature

    BTW nice performance!

  • I own a Ketron X4, which I play with my MIDI accordion. There's nothing like it!!! Ketron has the best and most natural voices.......realistic attack, decay, tremolo, etc. If you shut your eyes, you don't even know that it's a digital instrument that's making all that wonderful music.

  • despite having many years, I bought one already .. it was not easy to find one .. but still got one .. not having a sd5 off by anything x1

  • hello , is it easy to create a style

  • That sounds much better and natural than tyros!

  • Ketron X1 is not arrived to market at the same time with Yamaha Tyros 2. It has been much earlier in 1999 (Tyros2 maybe about 2005). But, with its performance and sound, X4 maybe slightly better then Tyros 2. Please, all of you commentators, who is not played and tried both instruments, do not criticizing Ketron.

  • Question from a non musician:

Can you adjust the way a preset is played, or does an instrument always sound the same? (Apart from tremolo, chorus, reverb and stuff)
