i dont understand why the military gets so much disrespect... being a soldier used to be an honor. you were even known as a coward for not joining. it was full of honor and every member was respected by the public. now people are saying terrible things about their own countries army? have they forgotten the importance of the military? maybe we need another genious evil dictactor like hitler to try to take over america.. then maybe these assholes with no respect will be begging for our army

@seanmichael93 Everyone one from Vietnam to now for the most part didnt have a uniform no flag no nothing it was basically a large scale policing act. basically a large scale policing act. if we fought in something like a world war 2 were it was clear what we were doing and who we were fighting like GOOD vs EVIL then the honor would comeback*maybe* other wise no. i for one am tired of being called a baby killer just for trying to get a dam bagel. but i love and will always defend this nation.

@seanmichael93 I mean ffs in world war 1 there was a time were some fronts would stop fighting during Christmas and they woudl go to each others trenches and drink, laugh and morn together for the dead brothers in arms. they didn't hate each other they were defending there nations and doing there duties it wasn't anything personal. but now... the complete opposite its corrupted there's greed hatred. Not to mention the past 3 wars america has been in hasn't been a traditional war

@seanmichael93 because during/after Vietnam you civilians finally got to see how bad and how gruesome war can be, everything is televised. You also got to see how war can sometimes have no honor and how it makes the best of us do the worst of things *like raping a Vietnamese girl* since everything we do can be televised to you, especially the bad. You as civilians can no longer be fed these controlled stories about how awesome we are and war is. war lost its "honor" after the Korean war.
