Yes, big surprise. A real shame that he didn't bother to listen to the President talk about keeping the health care debate civil.

  • Sounds like the truth to me. Profits for big insurance vs. actually helping people. Poor helpless GOP, can dish it out, but can't take it. What a bunch of pussies.

  • Awww, poor widdle GOP wants to trash-talk everyone else and then accuse everyone of being "uncivil" or "dishonest" when they give them a taste of their own medicine? Man the fuck up and stop expecting special treatment, you corporate dicksucking pussies.

  • Grayson never claimed to utilize civility.

    Obama did.

Just because Obama asks for it, doesn't mean Grayson has to do it.

    Dumb video.

  • He's just letting it all out now knowing full well he has no chance in hell of being reelected Nov '10. His district barely went Obama 2008 and previously were overwhelming for Bush 2000 and 2004.

  • i think people are too concerned with being poltically correct rather than saying what they need to say.

if its the truth, then it has to get out there

  • Grayson is a hero. Republicans are either the Christian right, intellectual conservatives voting against their interests, or the corporate rich who use the party to put up this "free market" smokescreen so they can get richer

  • Untrue. The health insurance industry is tirelessly looking for profits at any cost, much like credit card companies, therefore they would go to the most lenient states to offer their insurance "across state lines." The auto industry is much different from the health insurance industry, because in many states, auto insurance is mandatory.

  • No, the health insurance companies would do just like the auto-insurance companies and lower prices to compete. Credit card companies operate in a different way from insurance companies.

  • Interstate insurance would ensure insurance companies would go to the states with the most lenient laws, where they can make the biggest profits by covering as few people as possible. Look at the credit card companies.

  • you can find videos of republicans saying "eat better" and if you do get sick to "rely on your neighbor" while these may help some people MAYBE, these are not remedies to our healthcare crisis. Grayson merely was providing a hyperbole to shock the audience. But why are republicans worrying about their feelings being hurt? This isn't about them its about getting some type of healthcare reform.
