Another episode of "The Quest For Tone".

This time i review the amp that i use to practice with most of the time, a 2 watt Roland micro cube. This amp has 6 amp models and 6 effects - reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, flanger and tremolo. There is a tone knob which was set around 4 for this video and a volume which was around 3. The effects are controlled via two standard knobs. Its a fantastic little amp for beginners and intermediate players who need a practice amp.

I used my trusty STOCK Chapman ML1 and a lead that i found hanging on a fence post on the town i live in!! A great setup for way under £400.

Stay tuned for much more to come!!!! Got lots of ideas and thing planned to do for videos!!!

Cheers

Its his own guitar company called "Chapman Guitars". This particular model is the ML1 which is currently available from Andertons Music Store for £199 which is an absolute bargain as they are incredible:)

  • how calls the song at 3:10 minutes

  • I liked this video only because you played with the tuning fork button at the end.

  • hi mate ,great vids and review .i want to ask u ,can this amp do make the heavy vibrato ? like you put it on high gain and when u bend and vibrato the sound bcomes higher ?

  • watched a few of these quest for tone vis. Something I would like to see on these vids is the actual tone knob settings, and perhaps a little bit about how they affect the tone of that particular amp. Great vids, keep shredding!

  • guitar sounds flat
