How to roll a cigarette with a roach. Its exactly the same principle as with a filter, as shown in my other videos.

3. Yeah, all rolling techniques, whether aimed at joints or cigarettes, are interchangeable. You can look at my Joint rollint tutorial which is pretty much the same as this one, just using bud and a longer paper.

what if I dont have a roach/filter from filter paper? can i use anything else, or just use the joint paper without a filter?

Hi tunizianboi

You can pretty much use any thin card to make your roach, so long as it rolls alright. Some people tear pieces off the papers packet. I use stuff out of a cheap art sketchbook, or the green card from inside of a pack of rizla papers.... You can also buy "roach books" made from various types of paper.

This videos pretty Good! but whats the purpose of a roach or filter again? and does material of it matter at all? why use one when it makes it harder to roll?

As Valomorn said, the roach is there to provide something to hold on to, as well as something to put between your lips rather than just paper and tobacco (which can taste a bit bad). You may also get a slightly nicer smoke.

It actually makes it EASIER rather than harder to roll!

The material doesnt matter too much, just something that rolls smoothly like thin card.

@x3michaeladz It allows the THC to pass through into you. You can't use a filter with a joint because it is too dense and the THC won't pass through.

Why is it that people prefer to use roaches rather than the filter's you can buy in boxes? I don't get why you'd use a roach when you can get like 500 filters for £1 at a pound shop? Does it taste different to using a filter or something? Or just for convenience if you run out of filters or?
