my daddys not a coal miner, but he's a logger. two most dangerous jobs on the planet. I have the utmost respect for miners, loggers, & farmers. america wouldnt be anything without these people. go out and risk their lives to provide. People really need to realize who makes america. Definately not the goverment. Its these people. Love my daddy & hes my biggest hero..just for going out and risking his life everyday to keep the roof over our head and food on the table! this video is great

I really love this song. My husband is a coal miner here in Kentucky. My father and grandfathers also worked in the coal mines. Coal mining is a very dangerous job, but it is one of the only job around here that provides a good living for a man without a college education.
I absolutely love this song. I am the wife of a underground coal miner and this song describes him in every way possible. He works 6 days a week to provide for me and our baby. I cry everytime I hear this song. It's really good to hear people giving our men respect, since they do work to keep everyone's lights on! I love my miner and I am so proud of him! *JLS*
