Hi, in this video I show you my tip on how to grow your hair longer using my special technique of trimming split ends that occur up and down the length of your hair - not just along the bottom. This is so important to preserve and encourage your hair to grow long. Many things we do from brushing to ponytails can cause strands of hair to break. These shorter pieces of hair can form split ends and cause a frizzy look to your long hair as well as additional splitting up the hair shaft. This leads to loss of overall length of your hair. To mitigate this problem, I have a technique whereby you can give attention to all your hair, (including along the bottom) for split end removal. This will enable you to stretch your time between trims so you can grow your hair, yet still keep it healthy. I hope you like my video and that you find it helpful. • are those nail/cuticle scissors you're using to trim? do you regularly to turn them for the job?

  • @spellinto Hi, yes they are. I always use them because they are very easy to maneuver when you are only trimming off individual split ends.

  • HELLO!!! so im naturally really dark almost black but IM A FULL BLONDE and when i look at my ends i dont really see split ends but my ends are like weird they seem dry and bend all sorts of ways i dont know if u know what im talkin about i dont wanna say their fried but maybe thats what it is i was wondering if u can help me kuz i really dont want to constantly get my hair my trimmed PLEASES AND THANK U'S!!!

  • @JeannyNonhTV Hi, your ends may be dry from coloring and styling. Please see my deep conditioning with olive oil video. I think you will find it helpful. It's a wonderful deep conditioner and repairs your ends. You will need to pay special attention to conditioning your hair shaft because when you strip your hair of color it is very prone to dryness. Trimming your hair does keep the ends healthy, but I understand you don't want to do it constantly. You can get great results conditioning well.

  • I DON'T KNOW WHAT A SPLIT END LOOKS LIKE

  • @raven202101 Hi, at the very end of one of your hairs sometimes you can see a small split or fork. That's a split end. Very often it may appear to be lighter in color than the rest of the hair shaft.

  • @thedisbatcher if you have split ends, it breaks your hair off and it either looks really ugly so you need to cut it off or it breaks off your hair stunting the growth. by snipping off just the dead ends, you save the entire strand of hair from breaking off, thus, keeping it longer

  • cuticle scissor, I haven't thought of that, thanks!

  • @thedisbatcher because you get unhealthy hair or split ends if u dont cut ur hair for too long. so if u want longer hair, there's no use of having long but unhealthy, dry hair.

  • cutting your hair to make it grow longer doesn't make sense to me
