You may have sketched out but the exit was super clean. Some seasoned jumpers don't even exit that clean...much better to take your time and get it right I say.
Did the dude filming have a tripod or just a really steady hand?

Kinda sorta not really...
I don't have my own set of gear so I don't really base jump here in Canada. I did jump at Bridge Day the following year but have not done a base jump since. I was in school the last two years so it has been very difficult to justify purchasing a rig.

WOW! Inspiring to look at dude, beautiful first jump. Solid! Hope to do a jump that controlled if I ever get started w/ BASE.. Would you recommend #6 at Kjerag for a first timer?

I believe #6 is where they take everyone for their first jump. The exact spot where I was exiting from is called the diving board and I believe even has a small overhang.
