Eating Snake Eggs in Cambodia, Summer 08

This was probably up there with one of the best days of my life. After visiting a small fishing village in Cambodia on the Tonle Sap Lake and hanging out with little Cambodian children, we ended the day watching distant storms while lounging on hammocks. I remember a slight breeze - I felt content. I tried snake, too :)

HAHA - thanks for that comment! You must go to Cambodia, you're Khmer! It was one of my favorite trips of all time. I wasn't lying about the snake eggs. When I don't like a food, people know it. Those eggs were FANtastic. Really. Go try them!

Don't worry about cambodia what khmer eats, it's just for their food as well as american's food cheese and burger. Remember heaven never forgotten pizza, if you want more exotic is to go to india and western pagau where you will see naked guys and exotic food. Khmerican kids also envy their own parents' food, they liked eating fish and fish chip until they see whole fish they stopped eating. Their khmer parent have to cook them american food or buy them burger.

i was looking for is it safe to eat snake eggs, since in resident evil, when you kill a snake, you get an egg you can eat . . . i thought that's how Chris Redfield got muscles and wanted to be like him and everything and then read this: news.oneindia.in/2010/03/03/ch­ild-dies-after-eating-snake-eg­gs-4-ill.html and changed my mind about eating snake egs :)

I randomly came across your video. I've never yet been to Cambodia, even though my background is Khmer. I'm amazed you tried the snake eggs, is it actually good or did you just say that to be polite? Personally, I don't think I would try that, unless I have nothing else to eat and was really starving.
