Dear Fox News: Regarding Mass Effect

Dear Fox News,

It has come to my unfortunate attention that both the name and nature of Mass Effect have been ravaged as if they were the alien in Mass Effect that, according to a recent story, has "graphic sex with the player character" and then placed on display for the public eye to behold. Allow me to say, quite simply, you completely missed the point of what it is. This game is not the "graphic sex simulator" that you claim it is. This game is not marketed toward children in any way, shape, or form. This game is an excellent game in its own right and does not deserve to have its reputation smeared by your obscene stupidity.

The speaker that seems to be bubbling over with so much information at first glance later reveals that she, like so many others, has never bothered to play the game she bashes so furiously. Although the game is extremely long, there is no reason to not do research. The "graphic sex scene" shows no more skin than on the average network television show.

In case you meatheads are too busy taping the blame for everything on video games to listen to me, let me make this perfectly clear: do more research next time, and if you want to really be "fair and balanced", let someone who knows what he's talking about take over for a while, like the Spike TV representative.

One last thing: is it really that intelligent to piss off the internet generation when your livelihood depends on sales of a book available from Amazon?

Mass Effect is easily my most favorite game on my 360. Not for the "graphic sex scenes", but that plot was kick ass. Fuckin Reapers. You ain't gonna rule my galaxy ya bunch of pansies!
